A few days ago, I experienced the International Flower & Garden Festival that takes place every spring in Disney's Epcot, located in Orlando, Florida. Topiaries that resemble classic Disney characters flood the park, from Bambi to Aladdin to Mickey and Minnie Mouse.Besides topiaries and flowers, guests can take part in numerous exhibits, ranging from a Fragrance Garden to Minnie's Magnificent Butterfly Garden, where butterflies are flying freely over guests' heads.
Another aspect of the Festival is to educate guests on a number of things, from how to create an environmentally-friendly garden to using our water resources more wisely. Great American Gardeners are on hand to lend their expert advice to guests, from Jon Carloftis to Shirley Bovshow to Felder Rushing.
